The Evangelism of Creation
There is a wealth of ideas on how to share your faith, how to engage people in spiritual conversations, and how to present the Good News of Jesus Christ. Many are great - but some, not so much. But there's no one right, best way. It's helpful to know several ways, and especially helpful to be able to share by going wherever those you speak with are wanting to go.
Let me add another line of consideration - the evangelism of Creation. Not the apologetics of our universe's origin, and not even the Aristotelian "unmoved mover" argument that Aquinas also promoted. Rather, just pondering the implications of being created.
For example: What if you were created?
This is not to engage in an argument or apologetic to convince someone they are created, but just ... what if? What else would be true if you were created? Specifically, what if you were created by a Creator?
(More philosophically, the question is: What if you are contingent? But, don't bother with that unless you're engaging a philosophically-minded person.)
What else would be true? Would you have an end purpose? Would you have worth? How much worth? Could you possibly have some kind of relationship with the one who created you? Would there be a moral framework for you because you were created?
You can see how the one question can lead to many other questions - questions you don't need to provide answers for unless they are interested in your thoughts about it.
This could then lead to a follow-on question: What if you were created bearing the image of God - what would be true about you?
I would love to hear what conversations you have if you ask these questions to someone God puts you in conversation with.
